Images, PDFs and recognized text
Images, PDFs and recognized text are processed in your browser and are not sent to a server. Software, printed language data and the Korean model download from this site; the English handwriting model downloads from Hugging Face. Providers may process your IP address and access information for download requests.
Browser storage
Recent images stores up to 8 image originals and filenames in IndexedDB, each no larger than 5 MiB (5 × 1024 × 1024 bytes). PDFs are not saved in recent images. Delete individual items or use Clear all in that area. Downloaded engines, language data and handwriting models use Cache Storage. Open Change settings in the engine section and use Delete for the relevant item. Deleting the print engine also removes printed language data; individual languages can be deleted too. Selected printed OCR languages are remembered in localStorage. Clear this site’s data in browser settings to remove these stores together. When storage is blocked, downloaded data may only be available in the current tab’s memory. Data cleared by the browser must be downloaded again. Only the code list is saved in this browser’s localStorage. It is never sent to a server. Clear the list to delete it.
Hosting and access logs
